CALASPARRA
Whole rice from organic farming, naturally grown in Calasparra. Calasparra is located 350 mts. above sea level. Rice is grown in Calasparra since the XVIII century. Location , mountainous surrounding and the quality of the water for crops (water from the upper course of the river Segura and el Mundo, coming from the mountains), actually influence the high quality of rice. Whole rice keeps edible husks and rice germ, providing fibre, aminoacids and nutrients to the diet. Variety: Balilla x Sollana.

Wash with cold water and boil in water: 1 portion rice with 2-2,5 portion water. Boiling: 5 minutes on a high flame, 40 minutes on a lowest flame and resting for 10 minutes.
Keep in a cool and dry place.
